KEY STRENGTHS
SYSTEMS DRIVEN
I design player-centric stories, plotted around the player's role and offering thematic choices supported by the game mechanics. Embracing player agency is a stimulating challenge for me to ideate and craft storytelling systems that support a flexible story exposition and branching.
LAYERED WORLDBUILDING
I construct lively and dense worlds structured to serve and reflect player progression, emotions and choices. All added elements bring nuance and meaning, and are interconnected to create a cohesive network of backstories and themes, resulting in perceived richness.
Locations, characters and histories are equally crafted with a high degree of care. I put to contribution my background as an historian to ensure authenticity and I use archetypes to promote universal resonance for a deeper, stronger immersion.
TOOLS PROFICIENCY
I delve with passion into the technical specifics of proprietary engines, learning their limits and opportunities for storytelling. I use this knowledge to adapt the content I produce, from quest & story designs to narrative structures. I also suggest overhauls and design new tool structure to ease and fasten narrative content implementation.
PRESENTATION & DOC
Working many years in design roles gave me a solid insight into the various disciplines. I use this understanding to tailor the documentation of my work to my audience and to structure it in concise and clear powerpoint presentations, taking advantage of my proficiency in Photoshop to convey an aesthetic.
